Terms of Service

Lagom provides language learning content, exercises, progress tracking, audio support, speech-related practice, and AI-supported explanations or chat. You may use Lagom for personal, non-commercial learning purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion from the account deletion page.

Lagom is intended for users who are at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required under applicable law. If you are under that age, you may use Lagom only with consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Lagom content, design, courses, exercises, software, branding, and related materials are owned by Lagom or licensed to us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Lagom for personal learning.

You are responsible for content you submit, including feedback, exercise answers, chat messages, and support requests. You must have the right to provide that content. You grant Lagom the rights needed to process it to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

Lagom may use AI to provide learning explanations, chat support, exercise help, feedback, personalization, and course improvement. AI systems are automated and probabilistic. They can produce content that is incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or inappropriate.

AI-generated content is provided for educational support only. It is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice. You are responsible for how you interpret and use AI output.

If an AI response is offensive, unsafe, or wrong in a way we should review, report it in the app where available or contact info@lagomlearn.com.

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what data we process, why we process it, service providers we use, retention, deletion, and your rights.

Lagom is designed to support language learning, but we do not guarantee any specific result, fluency level, exam outcome, streak, or progress.

Lagom is evolving and may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, content, courses, AI functionality, or the service as a whole.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or harm, misuse the service, or if we need to comply with law. You may stop using Lagom or delete your account at any time.

Lagom is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lagom will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including AI output, service interruptions, data loss, errors, or lack of learning progress. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify you in the app, by email, or by updating the date above. Continued use of Lagom after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
